5. Intellectual property

8. Limitation of liability
Ca.Sa srl makes every effort to provide users with reliable information and a reliable service. Nevertheless, despite all the care taken, the site and service may contain inaccuracies or omissions.
The risk scores produced by Verigopay (Green / Amber / Red) are decision-support based on official public data. They never replace the user's responsibility for the final decision to make or not make a payment, nor any further checks required by the user's profession or applicable sectoral regulation.
Ca.Sa srl cannot be held liable for:
- Any errors or omissions in the source public data (BODACC, BCE, INSEE, RNE, etc.);
- The final decision taken by the user on the basis of the information supplied;
- Any direct or indirect damage resulting from a temporary interruption of the service, fraudulent third-party intrusion, or force majeure.
Use of the service implies acceptance of these limitations.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be those of the judicial district of Brussels (registered office of Ca.Sa srl, Ixelles), subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection rules.
10. Consumer mediation
In accordance with Book XVI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, a consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) to resolve a dispute with Ca.Sa srl, after first attempting to resolve it directly with our team at contact@verigopay.com. EU-resident consumers may also use the European Commission ODR platform.
Verigopay being a service strictly aimed at professionals (B2B), this provision in practice only applies to users qualifying as consumers under the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
